HIAB Transport & Crane-Assisted Delivery
When a load needs lifting as well as moving, make both part of the plan. We help arrange crane-assisted transport from Birmingham to destinations across the UK.

The right lift. The right place.
From building materials to machinery, HIAB transport combines road delivery with crane-assisted loading or unloading. Share the load details and site conditions with our team so we can assess a suitable approach before collection.
- Palletised building materials and stone
- Steel sections and fabricated components
- Generators and site equipment
- Machinery and bulky commercial loads
Good planning starts
with the right details.
Lift feasibility depends on the weight, dimensions, required reach and site conditions. Tell us about overhead cables, obstructions, ground stability and the position where the load needs to be placed. Photographs of both sites are particularly helpful.
If you are unsure about loading equipment or access, tell us. A conversation early on helps avoid assumptions at the collection or delivery point.

What to send us
- A clear description, sizes and weights
- Collection and delivery postcodes
- Preferred dates and any fixed deadlines
- Loading equipment and access at both ends
- Photographs where they help explain the job
From enquiry to agreed plan.

Areas We CoverHIAB Transport FAQs
Can a HIAB unload where there is no forklift?
Crane-assisted unloading may be suitable. We need the load weight, lifting points, positioning requirements and site photographs to assess the job.
Can you lift over a wall or fence?
Please describe the obstruction and the required reach. The team will review whether a suitable lift can be arranged; no lift is confirmed without assessing the details.
What if I do not know the weight?
Choose Not sure on the enquiry form and include any product information or photographs you have. Weight will need to be established before a lift is agreed.
